Summary of Accountabilities

Perform a variety of complex operational & functional projects relating to and assisting in avionics and other aircraft support needs. Perform data analyses, troubleshooting, draft writing, and create diagrams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of various avionics/electrical engineer documents for major alterations.
    • Support drafting wiring interface drawings.
    • Support drafting supporting documents and reports such as electrical load analysis.
    • Support integration of new aircraft systems.
  • Assist in STC development for aircraft.
    • Support generating wiring interface drawings.
    • Support generating wire routing drawings.
    • Support integration of new aircraft systems.
    • Support drafting certification documents and reports such as electrical load analysis, ground test plans, flight test plans etc.
  • Assist engineering with research and data analysis.
    • Support with research into aircraft systems, FAA regulations, and requirements of avionics systems.
    • Support compiling test and analysis data.
  • Assist in troubleshooting aircraft/avionics/electrical problems.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD software to create wiring diagrams.

Education and Experience

Preferred to be currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years completed, or currently enrolled in a post graduate Engineering program.
